The
Exim Bank Tanzania Managing
Director Anthony Grant (right) displays a certificate won by the bank in
recognition to the bank’s contribution to environment conservation during the

Exim Bank scoops 2013 best-practice environmental award
EXIM Bank Tanzania has emerged overall winner of the financial
institutions category in the Ilala Municipality Environment Awards
2013. The Award seeks to recognize institutions which have greatly
contributed to environmental conservation.
The award giving ceremony held at Zakheem grounds-
Mbagala and organized by Temeke Municipal Council as hosts of this
year’s World Environment Day on behalf of Dar es Salaam City Council
was in commemoration of the World Environmental Day under the theme
"Think. Eat. Save".
Speaking at the ceremony, the Guest of Honour Dar es Salaam Regional
Commissioner Said Meck Sadiki cautioned communities to preserve the
environment they are living in the sustainability of their operations
in the future.
